Hi,

How can i connect by ethernet (The powerbook has and expansion ethernet card) my powerbook 1400 and my Pentium III XP direct by net cable without a hub?, i read that if i run linux i can use SAMBA, so, MAC 8.5.1 (Or 9.1) to XP?

Thanks,

Marcel.

By connect by ethernet, I assume you mean to the Internet, right? Easiest and cheapest is to buy a router and connect both computers to it. Can't really see any reason to connect to the XP computer since there wouldn't be anything to share between them. Even with OS X there is only one-way communication (Mac to PC). As far as I know PCs with XP or anything else don't know Macs exist. Welcome to the list.
