I am now switching over to trackballs too, and I think highly of the
Microsoft Trackball Optical, the grayish one with the red ball on the left
side.  I like moving the ball with my thumb instead of my fingers, and the
trackball is much better for my budding RSI problems than a mouse.  It has
Mac drivers, and is on sale for $29.99 this week at CompUSA--a steal.
