Hi Teddy I am running 10.2.1 via XPF on a Powercenter with powerlogix G3, Hitachi DVD, Acrd IDE +60 GB drive, with 352M Ram...I had this exact error message on 2nd attempt at installing...
In fact I tried 3 times until I was successful. I didn,t shift a single cared, but everytime the installer fell over /kernel paniced I just started again...and each time I got a little further until bingo! I suggest you try again and see if you get furhterdown in the install process...if so just keep going and pull no crads until you have a repeating crash...then I suggest if you have to pull them one at a time and try again until you find the culprit... Sorry, but i don,t see any shortcuts here ! Good luck!
