Check the label on he chip on the card.  If it is Advansys, it is 
most likely you can get a driver at 
http://www.advansys.com/support/index-download.htm
I know I found a driver for my Adaptec 2940UW and my Orange Micro 
940UW which both companies do not support.  Both mfrs say that these 
cards are not osX compatible, but with the Advansys drivers they are. 
Advansys made a lot of OEM products for these companies.
