Hi,

I'd need some good ideas in how to handle a specific spam problem.

At first, I had SpamSieve at the bottom of all my PM Filters, to let all
good mail go into their folders before SpamSieve was put to work. It
worked well, apart from one thing: I was either notified each time I got
a spam mail or -- if adding the "Don't Notify" option to the SpamSieve
filter I was notified when I got mail from people included in any of my
PM filters, but not notified at all when I got mail from people SpamSieve
classified as "good".

With the latest SpamSieve release we can now turn off PM's new mail
notification and have SpamSieve notify us only when new "good" mail has
arrived. This is good.

But to get any use of this notation feature, you have to have SpamSieve
as your first PM filter. Which gives me the following problem:

I have a colleague who has some half a dozen email addresses. As I want
all my correspondence from and to him go into a certain folder, I've
created a PM filter listing all his address. If one of these addresses
exists in "Any Field", both in and out messages are moved to the folder.
Problem is we have started to get spam mails addressed to the both of us
-- or to me with a carbon copy to him etc. Either way, mailed classified
as "spam" by SpamSieve is sorted into that folder as well, after it has
got the "spam" label.

If we had had the option to sort by labels as well I could have managed,
but now I'm out of ideas.

Does anyone have a solution for this?

(PS: Chris N -- I found your "Mike Tsaiwalker" comment quite hilarious.
May the Force stay with him...)
