Sequoyah is doing a modified resource load for our upcoming outage. The
software assigns resources for the duration of the activities so as
someone already mentioned it will kick out hundreds of RPTs needed.
We're loading specific "high coverage" tasks and then creating made up
activities for base manpower loading and check point staffing. Our
primary target was the core empty midloop window - we'll be opening S/Gs
and many primary system valves within a short window. We resource
loaded to ensure we had adequate RPT resources for the window. This
effort identified we were approx 5 RPTs short for this critical window
and allowed us to approach senior management for additional resources.

Again this is our first time using this method so we'll see how it
works. Our outage starts 05/23/11.

Does anybody resource load Radiation Protection Technicians into the
work schedule, either on-line or outage?

Duke does not.
