Lanyards or cables are only used temporarily during outages or Spent Fuel Pool
modifications. During these periods a constant coverage technician is assigned
to the work. We do not allow long term storage of these materials to be tied
off where access is available. The materials are stored in containers or with
attachments that can be grappled or hooked when needed.

Subject: Powernet: Highly Irradiated material stored in pool

When you store highly irradiated material in your pool, how is the lanyard
attached and how do you tag the laynard?
