South Texas Project responds as follows:

Our radiation survey software was developed and programmed in house.

We train contract personnel to use the survey software.

The software is to be used for documenting all surveys. If the computer system
is down, any handwritten surveys will be entered into the survey software once
the computer system is restored.

Approved surveys are available for the entire site. In-progress surveys are
not available except to Radiation Protection staff.

No immediate upgrades or changes are planned for the survey software.
Stakeholders are meeting to identify desired changes which will likely be
incorporated in 2013.

Wolf Creek is requesting information for the following questions:

What type of radiation survey software does your site use?

Do you train contract personnel to use this software?

Is your radiation survey software required for all surveys performed, or do you
allow special circumstances to write them by hand? (Excluding the obvious,
computer system down)

Are your surveys available for all site personnel to view once the survey is
complete?

Please state any future plans you might have regarding survey software changes
or updates.
