one additional question, if central station is remote, is it in the power
block, a building attached directly to the power block or in an out
building?

Fermi 2 would like feedback on how others implement remote monitoring.

We just finished up an outage with the following setup:

A CMS Room at our Drywell Control Point located outside of the RRA. This
was mainly used for monitoring Drywell activities and included Telemetry,
Audio and Video. This control point also included monitors for
individuals to verify they were being picked up on telemetry and that their
RWP, Task, and ED Alarm set points were correct.

A local control point at the entrance to the Drywell for workers to confirm
they were still transmitting correctly. Communications equipment (Telex)
was also available at this location for select jobs.

A monitoring station in our Reactor Building Control Point located outside
of the RRA. This control point included Telemetry, Audio, and Video. This
station was mainly used during transfer of filters from Torus desludging.
It did see other use from time to time. This control point also included a
monitor for individuals to verify they were being picked up on telemetry
and that their RWP, Task, and ED Alarm set points were correct.

A local control point at the entrance to our Torus for desludging. This
location had video, audio, and standalone telemetry for diving activities.

A local control point on our Refueling floor. This location had video,
audio, and telemetry for monitoring workers.

My questions:

Do you have a similar setup or is it more centralized?

If you are more centralized, what benefits does it provide?

Do you use your system non outage?

How often do you set up monitoring outside a room (ie RWCU HTX room or
Steam Affected area? What does that normally entail?

If you have someone monitoring telemetry, for whatever reason, do you
require them to be trained and to what level? Are there different levels
depending upon what they are doing?

Please provide a contact for additional information. Thanks in advance for
any help you can be.
