Millstone would like to benchmark other utilities on controls and packaging used to survey and transport equipment during containment and aux building off-loading (bug-out of tools, equipment and materials), as preparations are made to return a unit to service following an outage. Do you have an expeditious method of getting everything out of Containment at the end of an outage before closing the equipment hatch? If so, please explain your process. Do you use your personnel hatch to remove items after containment is closed? If so, how much use does the personnel hatch get and what method do you have in place to control, package and survey equipment coming out? If you would prefer to call me, please do so at the number below.
