Columbia Station is semi-annual for everything with the exception of WBC, Gamma
Portals, and Counting Room equipment which are annual.

As for grace period - although we probably could by procedure, it is rarely if
ever practiced. I don't recall using a grace period.

Subject: Powernet: calibration periodicity

What calibration periodicity (semi annual, annual, other) is used for RP/ HP
equipment used at your facility...

(Fermi, currently semi-annual for all except WBC and gamma spec systems which
are annual)

  *   handheld instruments semi-annual
  *
  *   continuous air monitors semi-annual
  *
  *   electronic dosimeters semi-annual
  *
  * stationary (PCM, SAM, etc) semi-annual
  *
  * counting equip (WBC, gamma spec, alpha / beta counters) semi-annual
  *
Do you allow a grace period (or extension of cal due date) for RP /HP equipment
calibrations such as that specified in your TS / TRM for plant equipment
surveillances? no

(Fermi - no)

Thanks, Benjy
