Beaver Valley performed a neutron assessment in 2006, both spectra and dose equivalent (Battelle PNL contracted). Coincidentally, this was performed after recent power up-rates at both Units, but was primarily done because of changes in neutron shielding configuration and changes in observed neutron dose rates that occurred at Beaver Valley Unit 1 before the power up-rates. At the time, I don't think I could have justified the effort, either technically or financially, based on the power up-rate alone.
