Diablo Canyon uses SAM 12's as well.

The only issue we have had over the years is the hook part of the handle that
grabs the other metal latch-component mounted to the frame degrades over time.
When this occurs the door will not latch securely closed, and requires
replacement of the handle. Getting the handle off is fun, requiring a modified
Allen wrench and taking off the SAM front cover for clearance. Time-consuming,
but doable. We have 8 SAMs in-play, and have replaced all of the handles at
least once over the past 6 years.

Subject: Powernet: Quick benchmarking question: Tool Monitors

Question from Columbia:

What tool monitor do you currently use? SAM-12, Canberra Cronos, or something
other? Any issues?

Thank you in advance.
