Exelon, LaSalle station would like to know

1) Does your site allow workers to use their personal hard hats in
contaminated areas

Yes

2) Use a specific contaminated area hard hat

These are available

3) If using worker personal hard hat is a hard hat cover used

No

4) No safety head protection, just normal radiological protective clothing
hood or skull cap for contaminated area work.

Only in FME exclusion areas such as refueling cavity, or if specialized
contamination control face shields (Max-Air type), or bubble hoods. This is a
variance in our safety manual, and charges the RP Supervisor to control
overhead work.
