TVA-Browns Ferry

1. Yes / No - Most areas we allow personnel to wear their own hardhat.

2. No / Yes - Some areas like DW where they are tight with a lot of
contamination we use yellow hardhats in the zone.

3. Covers are available when personnel wear their own hard hat

4. For a few specific jobs where no head hazards exist and the area is an
FME area. Needs to be evaluated by Safety first.

Exelon, LaSalle station would like to know

1) Does your site allow workers to use their personal hard hats in
contaminated areas

2) Use a specific contaminated area hard hat

3) If using worker personal hard hat is a hard hat cover used

4) No safety head protection, just normal radiological protective clothing
