North Anna uses the DMC-2000 GNs for neutron monitoring. We do not utilize the
gamma monitoring feature for this dosimeter.
North Anna does not use Sentinel, we use HIS-20 for our personnel exposure
monitoring system.

We use the DMC-2000 GN and TLD for neutron exposure monitoring. Previously, we
used bubble dosimeters for neutron monitoring but have transitioned over to the
DMC-2000 GNs. Our program does allow the use of staytimes utilizing a PNR-4 or
ASP-2.

We use the DMC-2000 GN as an estimated reading and normally use the TLD as dose
of record for the worker. Our program will flag discrepancies between the
TLD/ED and we will do a dose investigation if warranted.

North Anna has and continues to use the DMC-2000 GNs for ISFSI and cask load
activities.

Tom Pastor is the Supervisor Exposure Control at North Anna and can be
contacted at (540) 894-2605 for additional information or procedures.

Subject: Powernet: Use of neutron DMC 2000 GN

Fermi would like feedback from peers on there use of the DMC 2000 GN for
neutron monitoring.

Do you use it with sentinel? If so what version. We are using version 1.08.04.

How do you use it in your neutron dose tracking program.

Have you used it with any ISFSI campaign.

Any other information that may be helpful.

Thank in advance for your assistance.
