Please forgive the vendor ‘barging in.’ Responses from June, Kevin and Glen were all spot on. Creating a database view from scratch is not necessary, however. Sentinel already includes views to Teleview, for both single EDs and multipacks, for Oracle and SQL Server.

Populate the “view” with the specific fields from the Sentinel multipack management application where the individual dosimeters are assigned to specific locations. You can age the RWP data and setpoints from Sentinel tables also to add to the VIEW. By populating the VIEW table the Teleview interface only needs to get data from this one “view” or table, thus increasing speed, accuracy and efficiency. Your IT database contact should be able to do this easily. Your testing will have to make sure you have used the correct multibadge tables for obtaining the data and that the table “view” is cleared when a person logs out. TeleView periodically queries a view on our Sentinel server and matches up transmitting Electronic Dosimeters with an individual and displays their name and other information in a container. Right now we can only retrieve data for individuals who are wearing a single transmitting dosimeter. We are evaluating using the multipack management application in Sentinel and would like to be able to retrieve information (RWP, Task, name, etc.) on all transmitting dosimeters an individual may be wearing. This would be done at the same time as individuals who have logged in with transmitting dosimeters using the normal RCA Access application. Does anyone have this capability using these applications? If so, what did you need to do to make it work? Thanks in advance for your assistance. Brad Krupp
