We were one of the first utilities to transition to the DMC3000 and were 
apprehensive because you know the bugs don't get identified until you get 
several months of real use at a plant.  The DMC3000 has exceeded the 
expectation of any digi user.  The improvements in display and button use are 
alone worth the change...

What's really needed is a dive option to transition from our remaining DMC2000 
units...

Most of Duke Energy sites are using DMC-3000's or transitioning to them.  Will 
still have many 2000's in service and use them for information as area 
monitors.  We are in the midst of transition entirely to 3000's and RDS-31's 
for area monitoring.
