Yes and No and No The problem is that the port work was done on a dead hardware platform. If you read some docs or look on the project page you will see that all port work was done with a Pegasos II Open Desktop Workstation with the Freescale PowerPC G4 processor. That platform is as dead as dead gets. That is in spite of the fact that it was a rock solid platform and never failed. There are none available anywhere and now the only way to proceed is to port to another platform. That is my version of events. Dennis Clarke dclarke at opensolaris.org
