1) cat ~/.kde/share/config/kpowersaverc [General] AlreadyStarted=true 2) deleting ~/.kde/share/config/kpowersaverc and restarting does not fix the problem. I'll try to compile from the svn trunk asap and get back to you (or from SPRM although I am running Fedora 7) Btw, are you aware the bug is also filed in the redhat database: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=243562 I have another question related to suspend/resume. Does powersave use hal (i.e. same thing as pm-suspend?). I also have problem suspending my laptop, but may be being able to access the configuration dialog would help!
