Yes, the error detection works to some extent - about half the "bad" results 
will in fact be OK. This is usually only picked up at double check time.

Not as such. But if you stop the program, delete the pxxxxxxx & qxxxxxxx save 
files & restart the program, the LL test will be restarted from the beginning.

IMO there is little point in doing this if you have a hardware stability 
problem which you haven't done something about.
