About Mersennes, Prime95 is written in Intel assembler. No way to "port" it. But Glucas and Mlucas are written in C. But they used float. "Porting" them to Cell would take ... many months of work, I guess... The main problem is not having machines ready to compute. The problem is to have a program ready to compute on this kind of machine...
