Then you'll be pleased when I point out that the v5 design _does indeed_ cope
transparently with v4 clients (to the best of my knowledge, as with any of my
posting statements).
If the planned code implementation of that design had been completed before the
migration, you'd have seen v4 transparency right from the start. As it is, v4
transparency will "appear" in the not too distant future, if not already there.
Does that allow you to raise your estimation of v5 design?
