I'd like -- nay, I need -- to hear about any software update that would 
make it worth updating any of my machines or which would impact how my 
systems interact with the servers. That would be the minimum.

I'd also very much like to hear reports of new primes, and even major 
milestones.

Links to forum threads on all the above would also be appreciated. As 
others have posted, I don't feel sufficient incentive to browse a web 
forum daily to see if there's anything of interest, but I may want more 
than a terse announcement when I do.

I don't like this as much as keeping this list alive, but I could 
probably live with that if I had to.
