the lives of a group of street kids, most who are heroin-addicted, one who was 7
months pregnant. The kids, for the most part, chose this life for themselves. They
are smart, they want to be in control, and they have found an incredible haven in this
community where drugs are easy to get and the authorities have chosen to accept them
rather than try to get rid of them.
