Hi Giovanni,

  Can you do:
$ disable hp2300
print from gedit
check out /var/spool/lp/temp
and see what is the document-format in the attribute file.
Also check that the 2 postscripts files in the directory is of the same 
content or not

Could be a bug in gedit, but am not sure
