Maybe two eyes would help :-) !!

Sorry , poor joke but then again so is the idea that digital cameras are
not there yet.

Onother apology...the old record stuck in a groove, but a high end
digital camera exceeds film quality. That's one of the reasons why clients
will pay
a premium for quality digital capture.

Can't pass comment on the current crop of self contained 35mm type bodies
'cause we don't use them professionally. I do have some reservations
however about the concept of anti aliasing filters and subsequent
resharpening.

The Sinar does 22Mpixel in one shot .That translates to 130 Mb output per
shot in 16 bit. It also has the capability of 16 shot capture in
addition to four shot capture and to this you can add macroscan
capability to give another approx 3 times increase over and above the 16
shot capture

Big enough for that library ?

If you use the words 'advertising' and 'plenty' loosely.

The majority of full on digital advertising photographers to my knowledge
using high end systems , 'cause only the best will do for the demands
imposed by most advertising briefs.

Jumping back below the parapet.
