Come on guy's (and gal's), lets be realistic about this.

In the current age of cost control and departmental accountability and
profitability, you just have to realise that often what is affordable and
practical is the best fit equation between quality, cost and convenience.

To say that the digital road is not 'right' for Jackie's proposed course is
surely exactly what this list is not about.

Frankly I, for one, know that there is a very robust digital path to be
trodden here. And yes, using sub �1000 digital is an option... and I'd
seriously hope not to see a quality hit in any final printed material up to
A3.

I find it hard to believe that we've just spent the last two weeks talking
up the use of D60's or equivalent to produce 50Mb and above images, only to
see us pulling it all down this week; ironic.

If Jackie needs someone to consult, I'd be more than happy to set up a
meeting... early next week will be fine.
