Dear Karl, Interesting indeed but for my money a card reader is much more convenient. If you are going to get one go for firewire or usb 2. Either will be MUCH faster. I have recently fitted a usb 2 pci card and a multi card reader to a fairly elderly pc without too many problems (ahem) for a total cost of around �35 and can finally unload 1gb cards faster than the guy in the studio can fill them up.
