Thanks - does anyone know if it can be used for shift-and-tile on a Sinar without a digital Hasselblad?
If you tile 5 * 5 on a 7 inch square Sinar (for 57), you would get about 100 Megapixels, and I could get 120 degrees out of my Schneider Super Angulon 47XL. (Image circle 166mm) It may be possible to use it on a Digiflex 2 - but they are made for 24 * 36mm CCDs, like the eyelike I still intend to buy. >I have not the faintest Idea of the value of the Imacon 2020 and would not >want it at any price not because of its age but because the sensor size >makes life difficult as the effective focal length of the Blad lens is >doubled making wide angle work impossible. I thought that it may come in useful for a back up for someone is all. Despite your comment that it would be adequate for parish news letter it was deemed as adequate for a lot more when originally introduced and purchased for 11,500 or so by a number of photographers. > >If anyone is interested the back is in the UK but has not met its reserve > >price with bidding standing at 520 just now. > > Thanks, Michael - How much is it worth? > > As discussed at length on this forum, it is not really adequate for serious > work, but as long as you have a 2k Mac and about 5k of Hasselblad, it will > save you money on Polaroid, and will be adequate for the parish news letter, > most Estate Agent brochures etc. =============================================================== GO TO http://www.prodig.org for ~ GUIDELINES ~ un/SUBSCRIBING ~ ITEMS for SALE =============================================================== GO TO http://www.prodig.org for ~ GUIDELINES ~ un/SUBSCRIBING ~ ITEMS for SALE
