Hi Snowy,

This has been quite a common fault with the Digiflex II, its caused by the solenoid touching the body casing, resulting in a short circuit which screws up the firing sequence. I'm currently on my FOURTH body ( in a 14 month period !), in fairness Horseman have been excellent in sending replacements but it doesn't inspire confidence in the camera.

This latest one seems to be ok (touch wood) but I wouldn't die of shock if it also went down. Apparently this design flaw was discovered by Horseman in April or May this year (I think) and any bodies shipped from the factory after that date supposedly will not develop this problem, however it would appear from yours that this may not be the case. When did you get yours repaired and whats the serial number ?

Regards Barry
