Just did a calibration ( LaCie Electron 22 III ) with Basiccolor 2.5.7 using the DDC cable and the end result has a red fringe around everything. This used to happen when adjusting the guns manually and leaving the red gun to the max ( as is advised ) I usually found I had to back the red gun down a little to eliminate the fringe.
I can however also eliminate the red fringe using the LUTs and cut the red input to 235. Does this mess up the calibration ? and am I better off to adjust the guns manually as I did in the past and then calibrate ?
