they may comment - but you'll still need to do your own testing

sometimes it is sRGB with an Adobe RGB tee shirt

Thomas and I have seminars planned for Spring, maybe you should put
your name down? I don't supose we'll be covering any particular SLR
camera SW in detail but, behind the scenes, profile > profile
conversions is always similar. And it's good to understand the bigger
picture.

it's what I'd use to find out the enswers to your questions

AND during converion from electrical signals to image data
there only rule is that there are NO RULES

sometimes you may, there is no easy answer.
also each camera software will provide different alogorythms

remember the darkroom - testing - testing
