I took delivery of one purchased from the Apple store in the US about
three weeks ago. It came with Panther installed (though the info on
Apple's site indicated otherwise). Around the same time I noticed that
one of the larger US retailers was saying on their web site that their
stock shipped with Jaguar and a coupon for an upgrade to Panther for
something like $10. I have a feeling that all Powerbooks leaving Apple
these days have Panther installed. If you find one manufactured in the
earliest days of this model it will have Jaguar on it.
