Unless Windows runs perfectly, perhaps a larger percentage of 
photographers here are using MacOS.  I don't use Vuescan, so whenever I 
see that in a title I delete it, and in a digest I'd just keep 
scrolling.  Can't Windows users do the same?  Or buy a Mac?

The Mac questions are generally related to its use dealing with 
printers/scanners/Photoshop.  Nobody asks how to get iTunes or 
Entourage working.

I would agree that a search at Apple's support site would be wise 
before posting questions here.  I certainly do, and often find what I'm 
looking for.

And once everyone's upgraded to Panther and Photoshop CS, the volume of 
questions should diminish.
