Exactly the 'treatment I got - complete indifference - just told to check the website! I think I left that stand more quickly than any other becasue I was angry - particularly because, as a D1x user, I am clealry professional and must be part of their target market. Don't Nikon realise that this is a competitve market and service DOES count!? I have had the same indifferent reaction when I had to speak to their tech support a couple of years ago. Though I have not done so, I know of other photographers who, suffering poor service from Nikon UK have gone straight to the Japanese head office - it was amazing how fast things happened!! However on a plus note, some months back I subscribed to Nikon Professional Sevices largely to get a fast turn-around on repairs and servicing. It is a fantastic service, one of my D1xs was back to me fully serviced and repaired inside a week. Jonathan Coleman Cavendish Studios Chester PS I, too, will not go to Focus on a sunday again!!!!!!
