Could you not just invert the camera in order to get the "rising front" feature on landscape shots? Will the lens shift screw clear the pentaprism? My own 35mm p/c Nikkor can be rotated through 360 degrees so that it can be shifted from any orientation.

I have recently discovered another draw back to this particular camera as far as what I shoot is concerned. A protrusion on the camera body prevents the use of the Nikon shift lenses. The protrusion bumps up against the knob which contols the lens shift and prevents mounting the lens. I haven't seen this but it has been described to me by another photographer and a salesman from whom I may buy the camera.
