really fancy laying out for 3 UPS @ UK 150 each. Ideally the landlord
should supply a clean supply, but how does one achieve that?

Dear Nick,

I have exactly the same problem and it happens when I switch on Blondes or Redheads in the downstairs studio!! In the winter I also have a separate oil filled radiator which causes the same problem. As soon as I turn off these items the screen returns to normal. I have head previously that a UPS was the answer so I think I'll also now invest in one!

The landlord sort out the electric supply???? HA!!! He told me it was good enough for the previous tenant so it's good enough for me! :-) So that's sorted then!
