Hi Folks Anybody out there use a Phase One H5 back with Contax 645? I was recently shooting some freelance work in studio and I've never worked with an H5/Contax 645 combo and I've got a strange issue.
Shooting in RAW, studio flash with soft box, combined pink and blue gels, f/8, pack on full power. Subject was wearing a black jumper and the texture in the 'hotspot' of the jumper underneath the chin has moir with a degree of colour fringing when the gel is on. I had a similar shot without gels and it was perfect. I didn't really notice the detailing at the time because I just checked a few histograms and was only previewing the images in slightly larger than thumbnail mode. Is this an issue to do with the resolving power of the CCD and those particular colours? The detailing was captured perfectly without gels and while I can reconstruct that part of the jumper in Photoshop, I'd like to understand why it happened so I can work round it in future. Would be most grateful for anyone's thoughts/experiences on the above. Kind regards Alex =============================================================== GO TO http://www.prodig.org for ~ GUIDELINES ~ un/SUBSCRIBING ~ ITEMS for SALE
