Kodak used to supply a 760M version of the DCS760 which I presume used an
unfiltered version of the chip. (Maybe "un-masked" is the better term here?)
There would still be the usual separate IR 'filter" in front of the mirror
which is easily user-replaceable with the optional AA filter or could be
left off completely, but then you'd have to deal with the IR.

There's still a bit of info about the 760M on the Kodak Professional site,
but very little since it is a discontinued model. ASA was 400-800 and raw
output 12-bit x 1 channel.

Perhaps this could be hooked up to various lenses with a view camera setup
similar to the Calumet/Cambo unit that uses either a Canon or Kodak DSLR as
the rear standard. Or, more simply, would there be a Nikon to C-Mount
adapter?

Otherwise, what about an older MF digi-back that used a color filter wheel
to achieve 3 color? Never had one myself, so I'm not sure what the make or
model might be, but I imagine finding currently useable software would be a
challenge.
