I know Katrin's book and I think it's one of the best for retouching!
However, I wouldn't point anyone to that book after they don't accept my consulting fee - doing so is some kind of consulting in itself, isn't it? What I would do at any time, though, after giving tuition to a client, is to point them to good books for further reading - I'd even refer to them on my handouts!
