Sorry I didn't explain properly, the number of pixels stayed constant.
Quark should see a 10"x8" at 300 ppi and a 10"x8" at 72 ppi as 10"x8" and does if you feed it tiffs.

One other thing to check.

Are you delivering the files on CD or via electronic download?

If, and this is a big if, the information on the "original" resolution is held in a resource fork, or something that might be getting lost during upload to an FTP server, then "wrapping" the files might prevent this from happening. See (http://www.riecks.com/forphotogs/wrapper.html) for a detailed explanation.

It's a long shot, but if you've exhausted all others, then it's worth a shot.

I still think it's a Quark quirk, but I don't recall if this issue existed in v4 as no one complained when I was delivering preview/FPO's as jpegs.
