Hi Welcome to the world of digital sensor dust :-(
As with many questions on the list ... see the ProDIG archive. This subject is discussed at length - even in the last few days. I've collected much of the info on it I've found at <http://www.northlight-images.co.uk/links.html#dust> It shows up more at small apertures since it is a shadow of dust on the anti-aliasing filter in front of your sensor. Sorry, but it's unlikely to be anything to do with the lens. If you want another shock, take an out of focus picture of a light table (or some other even source of illumination) at f16 or 22 :-) bye for now Keith Cooper Northlight Images http://www.northlight-images.co.uk Photography - Digital Imaging - Apple Mac Consultancy Tel +44 (0)116 291 9092 Mobile +44 (0)780 162 9397 =============================================================== GO TO http://www.prodig.org for ~ GUIDELINES ~ un/SUBSCRIBING ~ ITEMS for SALE
