Not an expert on your machine, but my gut feeling is that I would be
looking more widely - and without lots more questions I cannot be
specific.  Perhaps you have an intrinsic hard disk problem - but you
seem to have checked that out.  Also consider processors sometimes
die.  But another area that gets overlooked is memory.  Have you a
fault there?  Whatever I would be tempted to take the memory out of
the slots and clean the contacts (being aware of electostatics).  Also
check the connection ribbons to hard disk and the motherboard.

I once had a computer (PC) that did some of those things.  I got cross
and took everything to pieces, every board, lead and screw.  Put it
all together - has worked perfectly for the past four years.
