Just a little note to save someone a head ache..
Windoze has recently updated itself and installed its own firewall on top of any existing one (yes tech heads I know the titanics sunk too)
But, if you try to install a wireless router, this new firewall doesnt let you access the setup menu, no warning, just a blank screen...no such trouble with the norton firewall which carries on in the background.
so to save someone a few phone calls and blank looks from the sales people at PC world..disable it and you're off...(.didnt help that the first router was faulty ...."well the light comes on" was the verdict at Pc world)
Btw, Buffalo G54 pcmcia cards work on macs too for a fraction of the cost.
