I would go for the Gretag EyeOne Spectro and use either Gretags EyeOne Match
3.0 (then you don't need to buy a license for each workstation) or Basicc
Display (where you do need a license for each workstation). Many swear by
Basicc Display as beeing the best software today.

I am getting very good results on various displays (both CRT and LCD) using
the Gretag Eye One Spectro and EyeOne Match 3 software, both on Mac and PC
platforms.

I also own Pantone Colorvision PhotoCAL and OptiCAl (OptiCAL is much better
+ I was using Xrite DTP92 instead of the Spider which I had problems with
and replaced a couple of times :( ) and I have also tried Monaco as well
(it's a part of the PROFILER package I got).

Until I got the EyeOne Spectro I was using the BasICC Display with the Squid
device. I got EyeOne Spectro to try out a few weeks ago since I wasn't
getting the right result with the Basicc Display package profiling my new
ACD/LCD display running on PC. The Gretag Eye One Spectro is giving me the
best results I have ever seen. I was getting very good results with Basicc
Display on LCD monitor on Mac's but on my PC I got blocked shadows starting
around 20.20.20 RGB. Not sure what was going on there but since I now have
the EyeOne Spectro solution I am a happy camper.

Best
Chris
