[PRODIG] Epson 2100 /2200?

I may be jumping in late or misinformed, but here goes anyway. Do Any 
cis systems support the  Epson 2200? What can I expect in therms of 
archival life/ and lastly, since I presume the "color accuracy" would 
depend on the type of ink used in the cis system, do third party inks 
print as easily as  Epson OEM or would I need costly profiles? I 
checked out the www.mwords site and these questions seem un addressed.
