This is true, and there was something wonderful about prints appearing in developer. The magic of that can't be beaten - other than by the thought of what the chemicals are doing to you!!

I imagine people throughout history have had these debates.
From Manuscript Illuminators who saw their skills being eroded by Gutenburg's presses.
From Traditional Graphic Design to DTP.
From Plate photography to 35mm.


Skills are sometimes lost, but people who adapt and push the boundaries are often the beneficiaries.
