[PRODIG] Introduction and Nikon D70 Question

Dear Listees,   My name is Natinderjit Atwal or Nat as most people call me, and this is my introduction to the forum. I have been lurking on the forum for a while and I thought I should do the decent thing. I am just about to make the digital jump and hope to gather your collective experiences and advice.   As the Nikon D70 is so cheap (ok relatively) at the moment and I can't afford the D2X (large amounts of drooling), would those that have used the D70 care to share their opinions. Yes I know it is not a professional camera but from what I have heard from people, professionals are using it.... I am interested in the portrait, fashion and still life arena's.
