The problem with the D70 for professional work is apparently that the shutter is only good for about 20,000 shots, whereas the D2H is OK for 150,000. And with an all-plastic body, one should be careful when hanging large telezooms off the front.

That's hype - the D70 is astonishing, especially for the money. I never do weddings, but a valued customer was getting married a couple of weeks ago I found myself doing one after about 30 years, and shooting RAW with an SB - 800 flash, it was an absolute dream - more than can be said of the SLR/C which I used for backup!
